He preaches lies about the Lord that come directly from Satan's mouth. Scripture has always warned us about Hinn and those like him. They are false prophets and false teachers who lead people astray and who blaspheme the very God they claim to serve. God's Word — His actual, written, God-breathed Word, not the prophetic lies told by Hinn and so many like him — doesn't tell us to restore these ravenous wolves in sheep's clothing, or even to pray for them. Instead, scripture calls us to identify the liars and abusers of the flock and shun them. Understand this clear distinction. When a sincere brother in the Lord sins, we are to gently restore him if he will cooperate. But a false teacher, a liar and abuser who puts himself in authority over the flock, is afforded no such opportunity in scripture. In these cases, God puts the safety of the flock first. A wayward sheep gets a second chance; an infiltrating enemy shepherd does not. Does ANYBODY understand this difference? Restoration is for sincere believers who repent and love the truth. For the arrogant, deceived, unrepentant, and abusive teachers of false gospels, there is no restoration — only God's ultimate implementation of His holiness (i.e., judgment). Mercy abounds, but mercy does not override a stiff-necked unrepentant heart, especially in one who has led MILLIONS astray. Can you imagine the accountability debt these false teachers have accumulated for themselves? I don't know whether the torment of the lost is going to be proportional to the number of people they have deceived, but if it is then I don't even want to think about what horrors await those who tell lies about the Lord for their own personal gain on a global scale. Beny Hinn is condemned a hundred times over by his very own words, plain to see for all who have the courage to take God at his Word, actually read His scriptures, and "test all things" (1 Thessalonians 5:21). We all need to read 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12, meditate upon it, and ask the Lord to show us if we have received the love of the truth. Our very eternity hangs in the balance.
